Lucky, our Tortie, thinks she can do what she wants. And generally does, hence sitting on the table. She is a love.

I was transplaned from Tucson to Idaho in 1994. I really love living here. The beauty of Spring, Summer and Fall. Winter? The snow is pretty but I prefer to be warm, can’t stand the bitter cold!?Now I understand the term Snowbird. I have 3 amazing granddaughters who live nearby and a husband I adore. I love to fish. (The tranquility of it rejuvenates my soul), stargazing, gardening and music. Oh, and Bingo. Writing does not come to me naturally, but I like taking pictures with my iPhone.

    1. Lucky’s original name was Morning Star. Her mother was part feral and father a black long hair. We fed mom throughout the Winter as she would not come in, but watched our other cats use the cat door. Long story short, I never wake up early, but that morning I did, not 5 minutes later I hear “knocking” at the kitty door. Mama cat (we named Autumn) wanted in. I looked at her knowingly, she was in labor. Thus only one kitten was born. My husband changed her name to Lucky. You can understand why.
